Muhammad Saleem Ahmad Ranjha

He previously served in the Government of Pakistan as Secretary of BISP, Secretary of BOI, Additional Secretary of Education, Member of FBR, CEO of FBR Foundation, Joint Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, and Managing Director of Pakistan Software Export Board.

Dr. Talat Mahmood

CEO of ‘Bridge to Pakistan GmoH’ and ‘Smart Impex Pvt. Ltd.’ , Chief Advisor at German Pakistan Trade & Investment, and Vice President ABF Asia Berlin Forum e.V.

He earned doctorates in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Economics from Technical University Berlin and Humboldt University and had a distinguished career as a professor at leading German universities. Having developed a great deal of expertise in helping the development of start-ups and promotion of the start-up ecosystem.

In pursuance of his endeavors to promote Pakistan-Germany economic engagement, he has been working as the Chief Advisor to the Executive Board at PGBF-Pakistan German Business Forum, Managing Director & Vice President at German Pakistan Forum – DPF – Germany, and was previously the General Secretary at German Pakistan Society – DPG. He has also advised the provincial governments in Pakistan on sustainable development and tech-based growth.

The government of Pakistan has conferred upon him Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.

Farrukh Khan

Farrukh is a seasoned policy expert and an entrepreneur with a 27+ year track record of driving innovation on the global stage. He has incubated successful startups in both Pakistan and the United States, demonstrating a unique ability to translate policy insights into action. His international career began as a diplomat when he joined the distinguished Foreign Service of Pakistan, where he rose to Director General roles focused on international organizations and economic diplomacy.

Farrukh’s drive to convert ideas and policy into action is evident in his crucial contributions to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and his leadership in establishing the UNEP World Environment Assembly. He played a pivotal role in developing both the Adaptation Fund and the Green Climate Fund, spearheading initiatives like the GCF’s Private Sector Facility. His thought leadership continues through his role on the Governing Board of the Carbon Market Integrity Council, where he shapes voluntary carbon credit standards.

Prior to his current ventures, Farrukh served as Chef De Cabinet/Deputy Chef of the Cabinet to the 75th President of the UN General Assembly and held a Senior Manager position in the Executive Office of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. His academic credentials include positions as a Visiting Scholar at the Perry World House at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Senior Fellow at Harvard’s Mossavar-Rehmani Center for Government and Business. An alumnus of the University of the Punjab and Columbia University, Farrukh’s insights are regularly featured in journals and newspapers.
